Nut Regluing: Steps and Tips for Securing Loose Nuts

If the nut is loose and you need to reglue it.

1. Clean off all of the old glue
2. Make sure it fits. If not you need to fit the angles to match the fingerboard and the neck.
3. Use a very small amount of glue so that the nut can easily be removed.
4. Make sure the nut is centered.
5. A rubber band is the simplest method of securing the nut while it dries.
